Meridian Neuroscience Services
When it comes to epilepsy, we understand the importance of pinpointing diagnosis with the greatest accuracy possible, which is crucial for proper treatment. As part of Meridian Neuroscience, our patients have easy access to specialized services at our sister hospital, Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. These specialized services include around-the-clock brain monitoring to help children and adults gain control of seizures.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease of the central nervous system which can affect an individual's ability to write, speak, or walk, as a result of a disruption between the communication of the brain and other parts of the body. At Ocean Medical Center, a team of neurologists, physical therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists work together to provide MS patients with exceptional care.
The Neuroscience program specializes in the treatment of migraines and tension headaches. Meridian's expert neurologists work with patients to start a medication treatment plan to help manage migraine pain and prevent headaches before they start.
