About the Breast Ultrasound Procedure
Breast ultrasound is a painless, non-invasive procedure that enables our experts to gain more information about your breast tissue. When a breast lump or abnormality is identified, an ultrasound will often help differentiate between a fluid-filled cyst or a solid mass. Breast ultrasound can be used for young women to evaluate a specific breast problem or as a complement to mammography.
