    The AACAP developed Facts for Families to provide concise and up-to-date information on issues that affect children, teenagers, and their families. The AACAP provides this important information as a public service and the Facts for Families may be duplicated and distributed free of charge as long as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is properly credited and no profit is gained from their use.


  • Bilingual Patient Education Materials—National Center for Farmworker Health, Inc.:
    This portfolio of low literacy, bilingual presentations was developed for use as a patient education tool to supplement and enhance existing teaching methods in migrant health centers and in outreach programs. It was developed with the intention of providing health care practitioners an easy, low cost method for providing health education to low literacy patients who speak English or Spanish. These materials may be printed and used free of charge.

    NHIC puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with those organizations that are best able to provide answers. The site includes the Health Information Resource Database which contains information on 1,500 organizations and government offices.
