Message to the Community

John K. Lloyd, FACHE

As we enter the holiday season, I am pleased to look back over the past year and be thankful for all that we’ve accomplished at Meridian Health. Countless hours were spent with patients and their loved ones, as well as with members of the community through screenings and educational seminars — the commitment of the team members who make up Meridian Health remains steadfast.

Whether we’re treating a patient in medical crisis, researching the latest procedure, participating in a clinical trial, or keeping the hospital open during a time of increased economic pressure, the strength of our organization stems from a solid foundation of compassionate, caring individuals. In addition to a committed staff, the success of Meridian Health is derived from the more than 3,000 volunteers who give their time each week at each of our four hospitals: Jersey Shore University Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, and Riverview Medical Center.

As we begin this festive time of year, I would like to wish all of you a very happy and healthy holiday season. At Meridian Health, we remain committed to improving the health status of our community and taking care of New Jersey.

Sincerely,

John K. Lloyd, FACHE
