Message to Wise & Well Members
Dear Friends,
After this very cold winter, we hope that you are enjoying the beautiful spring season that is upon us. This is a perfect time to begin gardening and enjoying the great outdoors at the Jersey Shore. Staying actively involved in life is the goal at any age. But for many older adults, the potentially crippling impact of osteoporosis or arthritic conditions keeps them from enjoying the simple pleasures of gardening, walking, lifting, or playing golf.
And it is for this reason that Wise & Well continues to develop wellness programming geared toward maintaining an active lifestyle. We hope you will take every opportunity to attend the variety of programs that we offer, like the free Golf Clinic we are hosting on May 13, in partnership with Twin Brook Golf Center. Like all of Wise & Well's community health education offerings, the golf clinic is designed to help you maintain and improve your health while learning some new techniques to improve your game. Participants not
only will be able to meet and talk with Meridian Orthopedic specialists to discuss the latest in sports medicine to keep them moving, but will also be able to learn to hit off the big tee or brush up on basics with talented PGA professionals.
I want to thank you for taking an active role in your health and wellness. And I hope you enjoy the warm months ahead.
Best of Health,

John K. Lloyd, FACHE
