Digestive & Colorectal Cancer Program
Ocean Medical Center's Digestive and Colorectal Interdisciplinary Specialty Team brings together highly trained medical and surgical specialists to provide coordinated care for patients whose cancers are located in the GI body tract. The interdisciplinary team of specialists meet monthly to discuss and develop treatment plans for each individual patient. Additionally, Ocean Medical Center has an Oncology nurse navigator dedicated to the colorectal cancer program, providing education and assistance to navigate medical care decisions and appointments. Their mission is to help patients and loved ones find the support needed.
Ocean Medical Center has a cancer resource center available to the community. The center provides a tranquil environment to review literature available on all cancer topics and also includes a computer for internet access.
