Cancer Survivorship

Building upon Ocean Medical Center’s robust cancer program, the hospital has joined forces with several cancer-related organizations to create the Ocean Medical Center Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Our partners include the American Cancer Society - Jersey Shore Region, The Cancer Concern Center, and The Wellness Community of Northern Jersey Shore, The group is dedicated to helping patients and loved ones transition from "cancer patient" to "cancer survivor" and learn to reclaim their lives throughout and after diagnosis and throughout treatment.

The combined efforts of these organizations provide the community with robust resources and education. They offer individual consultation, support, interaction with other cancer survivors, and a full list of robust educational programs and seminars with experts in the field of cancer care and survivorship.

Learn about our Cancer Transitions program, a six week structured program for adults with all types of cancer who have completed treatment within the last 24 months, beginning on April 9, 2010.
