We recognize that young patients have unique needs and benefit from a special healing environment. That's why we have created the Pediatric Emergency Center at Ocean Medical Center to better serve these patients and their families.

The Pediatric Emergency Center is a private and comfortable area adjacent to the emergency department that is staffed with board certified, emergency trained physicians and pediatric nurses. These individuals have the experience and expertise to provide the specialized care that children require, treating newborns and kids up to 18 years old.

The Pediatric Emergency Center is available seven days a week during the busiest hours, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This compliments the emergency services we provide to children and adults 24 hours a day.
