Our Mammography Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and certified by MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act), verifying our commitment to the highest quality standards. Our team includes a dedicated, fellowship trained Breast Radiologist, Lance Dillon, M.D. Additionally, our specially trained technologists are licensed and certified by state and national agencies.
The Women's Imaging Pavilion at Ocean Medical Center provides a quiet, calm atmosphere where women can feel comfortable discussing their needs with our trained staff. Our resource room provides literature and videos on early detection and prevention, treatment options, and supportive services. A registered nurse is available to provide breast self-exam instruction, conduct risk assessments, and discuss personal concerns.
