Friends on the Bay Sponsorship

Dear Friends:

The Guild of Ocean Medical Center's Fifth Annual Friends on the Bay cocktail reception will be held on Friday, September 19th 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle, New Jersey.

The success of this event will support the Ocean Medical Center, the Ocean Care Center in Point Pleasant and the services they provide for their patients. This is a Guild's major fundraising event of the year. Because of continued support and generosity you have made our event a success and have increased our fund raising objectives every year. This past year we were able to write a check for $80,000 to the hospital! You can once again support us by being a Sponsor, Auction Donor and/or placing an advertisement in the Journal. It is important for you to know that 100 percent of the proceeds, less the expenses of the event, directly benefit the patient.

Because of your financial involvement in the recent past, the Guild has been able to provide all the funds for the Vein Viewer, a machine used primarily in oncology, but beneficial to patients throughout the hospital. Additional funds were used for the Navigator Program and to purchase equipment completing existing facilities for the Radiation Oncology Department at Ocean Medical Center. In addition, a computer for the CAT scan was purchased for the Urgent Care facility, a satellite of the hospital, in Point Pleasant.

This year the Department of Colon and Rectal Diseases will be the recipient of a portion of the proceeds along with Radiation Oncology and the Urgent Care Center.

We truly appreciate your consideration and thank you for your assistance in helping the Guild of Ocean Medical Center achieve its mission. Believe it or not, your participation in the event may have a direct impact on someone's life.

Invitations will follow and please make plans to join us on Friday, September 19th for an evening full of good food, live music along with meeting with old and new friends.
