Kevin T. Gioia, M.D., Urologic Reconstructive Surgeon, Joins Ocean Medical Center
Brick, NJ - Ocean Medical Center is pleased to announce it has expanded its surgical program with the recruitment of Kevin T. Gioia, M.D. Dr. Gioia joins Daniel Burzon, M.D., John Chapman, M.D., Pierre Mendoza, M.D., and the team at Coastal Urology Associates in Brick, NJ.

Dr. Gioia will work closely with the robotic surgery team at Ocean Medical Center and will spearhead a new Urodynamic Incontinence Program, which will allow the medical center to treat those with conditions that affect bladder and pelvic floor functions.
“Patients no longer need to compromise their quality of life by suffering with bladder and pelvic floor dysfunctions. Dr. Gioia and our new program will provide extraordinary treatment with dignity and compassion,” said Dr. Mendoza, director of Robotic Surgery at Ocean Medical Center.
Dr. Gioia is a urologist skilled in female pelvic medicine, urologic surgery, and urogynecology. He is board-eligible in both urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), specializing in urogynecology. After completing his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ), Dr. Gioia received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. He continued on to complete his residency training in urologic surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital (Stony Brook, NY) and fellowship training at the Continence Center at Virginia Mason Medical Center (Seattle, WA), where he specialized in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He also treats conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder/urinary frequency, pelvic pain, pelvic reconstruction, urodynamic evaluation, and recurrent UTI’s.
