- 24-hour staffing with board-certified physicians and registered nurses
- Individual care planning and regular health assessments
- Assistance with getting around, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and medications
- Rehabilitation therapy

- Coordination of doctor appointments
- Ongoing variety of stimulating social, educational and spiritual programs
- Direct access to services at Ocean Medical Center
In addition, we perform a variety of services on site in order to eliminate re-hospitalization including bladder scans, EKG, IV Antibiotics, IV Lasix, radiology services, lab work, TPN, G-tube, chest tubes, Life Vest, and tracheostomy services. Through our high-quality medical care, progressive rehabilitation, comfortable atmosphere, and loving support, we give peace of mind to our residents and their families.
Short-term and Sub-acute Rehabilitation
From our wide range of short- and long-term medical and rehabilitative programs, Meridian Nursing & Rehab’s continuum of care approach helps achieve the most successful outcomes. The Sub-acute Care Unit at Meridian Nursing & Rehab at Brick cares for patients who require complex medical care, skilled nursing and progressive rehabilitation services.
The progressive short-term therapy program provides:

Sub-acute care assists those who have experienced catastrophic trauma, illness, or surgery with their recuperation, helping them function better, sooner.

The Joint Commission’s Advanced Certification in Heart Failure Program, launched in 2011, is designed to target methods of providing safe, successful transitions of care as the patient moves from the inpatient setting to an outpatient setting. Achievement of this certification signifies our dedication and commitment to the achievement of long-term success in improving outcomes for patients diagnosed with and being treated for heart failure.
