Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center has 12 operating suites, four endoscopy rooms, and three minor rooms to handle both inpatient and same-day surgery requirements. Three of the operating suites are dedicated laparoscopic OR’s, one is a dedicated cysto room and one will be designated for eye procedures.

Our surgery procedures encompass everything from general surgery and orthopedics to new minimally invasive techniques like Video-assisted Thorascopic surgery (VAT) and InterStim® Therapy to treat urinary incontinence.

Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center’s team of nurses partnered with architects and interior designers to create a healing environment that ensures safety, improves efficiency and provides an extraordinary patient experience. No detail was too small. Patients were even brought on tours, and their feedback was incorporated into the final design.
